The sequel to the first game of the Boston College (4-1) at UCF (4-2) three-game series was just as exciting and just as close as Game 1, however this time the Knights ended up on

the loosing end of a game that went back and fourth and down to the last out.

?Obviously it was a great college baseball game, back and forth, the entire time both teams battling right ?till the end.? Baseball is a game of momentum and I thought our guys fought all night long,? Coach Terry Rooney said. ?We put four runs up and then gave up three, it is what it is.?

UCF starting pitcher Brian Adkins retired three straight batters, escaping a pinch when a lead off walk followed by a double from Tom Bourdon put two Eagles in scoring position with no outs.

Shortstop Darnell Sweeney got things going with a lead off single.? After a clean steal of second, Sweeney scored for the Knights when an error on a routine groundball hit by Chris Taladay allowed Sweeney to advance home from second.

Tom Bourdin hit a single to bring in a run for the Eagles and Anthony Melchionda tagged Knights pitcher Adkins also for a single.? The tough bounce allowed another run to score giving the Eagles a 2-1 lead.? Matt Pare singled to center to drive in another, and Spenser Payne hit a grounder threw the second base gap to add one more.? The Eagles led 4-1 in the bottom of the third.

Alex Friedrich drew a walk, to put a Knight at each corner again, and Nick ?C-Lo? Carrillo put a laser into the shortstops ankles, forcing an error and scoring the second run of the inning.? The Knights trailed 5-3 after five.

In the bottom of the sixth, Sweeney started the inning by reaching on an infield hit, followed by Ronnie Richardson earning a free pass to first. ?Taladay drove a single to right field to bring Sweeney home.? With the bases loaded, Vasquez lined a single to center to tack on two more.? Friedrich contributed a sacrifice fly to bring the damage to four runs on the inning.

After a pivotal sixth inning, the Knights claimed the lead with a score of 7-5.

Oil prices jumped to a nine-month high above $105 a barrel on Monday after Iran said it halted crude exports to Britain and France in an escalation of a dispute over the Middle Eastern country's nuclear program.

Markets in the United States are closed Monday for the Presidents Day holiday.

Iran's oil ministry said Sunday it stopped crude shipments to British and French companies in an apparent pre-emptive blow against the European Union after the bloc imposed sanctions on Iran's crucial fuel exports. They include a freeze of the country's central bank assets and an oil embargo set to begin in July.

Iran's Oil Minister Rostam Qassemi had warned earlier this month that Tehran could cut off oil exports to "hostile" European nations. The 27-nation EU accounts for about 18 percent of Iran's oil exports.

The EU sanctions, along with other punitive measures imposed by the U.S., are part of Western efforts to derail Iran's disputed nuclear program, which the West fears is aimed at developing atomic weapons. Iran denies the charges, and says its program is for peaceful purposes.

Analysts said Iran's announcement would likely have minimal impact on supplies, because only about 3 percent of France's oil consumption is from Iranian sources, while Britain had not imported oil from the Islamic republic in six months.

"The price rise is more a reflection of concerns about the further escalation in tensions between Iran and the West," said commodity analyst Caroline Bain of the Economist Intelligence Unit. "Banning the tiny quantities of exports to the U.K. and France involves very little risk for Iran ? indeed quite the opposite, it catches the headlines and leads to a higher global oil price, which is something Iran is very keen to encourage."

Oil prices also rose on hopes that Greece's new bailout deal will be approved on Monday as well as by China's decision to boost money supply bid to spur lending and economic growth. China's central bank said Saturday it will lower the ratio of funds that banks must hold as reserves, a move that frees tens of billions of dollars.

Oil has jumped from $96 earlier this month amid optimism the global economy may grow more this year than previously expected. J.P. Morgan raised its Brent crude price forecast to as high as $135 from $120 ? on Monday, the April Brent crude contract was up 79 cents at $120.37 per barrel on the ICE Futures exchange.

In other energy trading in March contracts, heating oil gained 1.61 cents to $3.2050 per gallon and gasoline futures rose 3.2 cents to $3.22 per gallon. Natural gas lost 4.8 cents to $2.636 per 1,000 cubic feet.

The fired employee used the word in a mobile headline -- "Chink in the Armor" -- after the Knicks lost to the New Orleans Hornets Friday night.

"I don't think it was on purpose or whatever, but (at) the same time they have apologized. And so from my end I don't care anymore," Lin said after leading the Knicks to a 104-97 win over Dallas on Sunday. "Have to learn to forgive, and I don't even think that was intentional. Or hopefully not."

Lin is the NBA's first American-born player of Chinese or Taiwanese descent.

The headline was up only from 2:30 a.m. ET to 3:05 a.m., but an employee of Web-based sports network SB Nation captured it.

A few days earlier, Max Bretos, an anchor on ESPN News, used the same phrase while speaking with Knicks legend Walt Frazier. He has been suspended for 30 days. A radio commentator on ESPN's airwaves also used the word, but the person is not an ESPN employee.

ESPN first apologized on Saturday, then issued the following statement:

""We are conducting a complete review of our cross-platform editorial procedures and are determining appropriate disciplinary action to ensure this does not happen again. We regret and apologize for this mistake."

The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund also issued a statement on Saturday calling the phrase "racist and inexcusable." I LOVE my Roubo Workbench! - Family Woodworking

I'm still plugging away on the humidor, but on Sunday I had a bit of a "Honey to do List" rush order. We have a spot on our kitchen counter that is a real waste of space, and as our kitchen is small to start with, well I had to make a little shelf kind of thing that will help.

It is nothing much, but it has to look nice and be durable. There will not be a lot of weight on the shelf, so I made it without a back, it is all jointed together with dados, and should be fine.

Now I just need to do some sanding and then put a finish on it.

To cover the edges of the plywood, I use some thin strips of hardwood, I put them on then I use a sharp #4 hand plane to bring everything flush, this works really well, but to make it even easier, I put the whole shelf in the leg vice on my bench and then a clamp to the sliding deadman. the shelf is held ROCK SOLID and this makes the hand planing fun!

(The top of the shelf goes right up against the bottom of the upper cabinet, so you won't see the end of the side piece of plywood, that you can see now)

The one shelf is adjustable, and I wanted to put the half holes in the underside of the shelf so the shelf registers on the pins.

I dunno how your guys do this but this is what I do.....

If I had a whole bunch to do, maybe I'd make some kind of a jig to use the router, but for just the one, this works.

Now on to sanding......

Man I love that workbench, it sure was worth the time, money and effort to make it!
